Amanda

Receptionist

I’m the receptionist here, greeting patients and scheduling appointments. I attended dental assisting school at Concorde Career Institute in 1999, and since then, I’ve loved getting to know each patient and watching them enjoy their new smile. It’s so rewarding to see the transformation in their confidence.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of four children and two dogs. I love spending time with my family, especially when we go camping. I also enjoy working in my yard and gardening—I love getting my hands in the dirt and watching things grow!

Mary Helen

Administration

I work in administration here, handling everything from office updates and maintenance to marketing and reception. Prior to joining Dr. Harrison’s team, I was the office manager for an orthodontist for nearly eight years. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Millsaps College, and I love staying on top of new office technologies and ways to improve our efficiency.

One of my favorite parts of the job is getting to know our patients and their families. There’s always something new to learn, whether it’s from the patients themselves or the advances in the orthodontic field.

I’m married to my wonderful husband, Alex, and we have two boys, Jacob and Thomas, both of whom have had their fair share of orthodontic work! Our family also includes four dogs and two cats, so there’s never a dull moment at home. We recently moved to Memphis, and I’m enjoying exploring the city and all it has to offer.

Stephanie

New Patient Coordinator

As our new patient coordinator, I meet with all new patients at their first appointment, go over payment options, and handle extraction letters if needed. I graduated from the dental assisting program at Concorde Institute in 2002, and I truly enjoy interacting with patients and helping them take the first steps toward achieving the beautiful smile they’ve always wanted.

I’m happily married to my wonderful husband, Jonathan, and we have two amazing kids—our daughter, Lacey, and our son, Luke. I’m a huge Alabama Football fan and a proud season ticket holder! Singing is another passion of mine, whether it’s at church or just about anywhere else. I love watching Lacey play softball, and as a family, we make it a point to visit Disney World and Disney resorts twice a year. We’re active members of Christ the King Lutheran Church, and one of our favorite family traditions is getting together every weekend for game night, where we play Uno—it’s always a blast!

Bookkeeper

I’ve been managing insurance and accounts receivable since 1989. With so many years in the field, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of people, and that’s something I truly enjoy about my job. Being part of a positive, supportive environment makes every day rewarding, and I love knowing that I’m helping our patients in such an important way.
